They are available now in my Etsy! (Reminder that my end of year sale goes until December 2nd!)
Recently I've been into alternative forms of print making, most notably Risograph! I'm so tickled with how these turned out.
Risograph is a form of machine printing that utilizes similar application as screen printing, but digitally automated. Colours are limited by how many ink barrels are acquired for the machine, and only 1 or 2 colours are printed at a time depending on the type of Riso printer. The machine reads values of black and white, so file prep involves adjusting greyscale values in each colour channel, so the print only allows a certain amount of ink through in certain areas (much like halftoning in screen printing)
These pieces are composed of only 3 ink colours each; The colours I used were fluorescent pink, yellow, blue, mint, and black in various combinations. I became enamored with the textures that result from this type of printing, and how each print is unique due to the offset of colours, different saturation consistency, and other slight blemishes that are a part of the charm of Risograph printing. Definitely going to play around more with this form of print making.
